On Saturday morning four of our Harriers took on the Wensleydale Wander event, an event which has a choice of two circular walks, one a 23 mile challenge and a shorter one of 12 miles, both starting and finishing in Leyburn.
All competitors get a hot meal so sounds like an event I’d be interested in, in the future…
Darren Gee, Julian and Amanda Waller took on the 23 mile event, Darren finishing 5th in 3:06 with Julian 3:29 ahead of wife Amanda in 4:17. Sara Gee took on the 12 mile event (sensible) finishing in 2:22.
