Two PB’s For Lottie!

Under 13, Lottie Graves, was the only Darlington Harrier who ventured north to the NECAA Open meeting at Morpeth last weekend. Tori Buckley was due to join her but had to pull out because of a hip injury (fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, Buckers!) So it was up to Lottie to do the biz for DHAC, which she did in style…..

Being a bit of an all rounder, Lottie entered two events; the 200m and the shot put. She’s relatively new to the shot put but still produced some cracking throws, with a best of 6.02m. This improved her PB by a whopping 44cm and was enough to take 3rd place overall. She ran in Heat 4 of the 200m and did the double with her second PB of the day! An excellent run, crossing the line in 29.32s to take 3rd place; all with a blister, and against a head wind!

Two top performances! Well done, Lottie, keep up the great work!
