Sunday saw two of our athletes join a relatively small field at the Town Moor Half marathon, Newcastle. This event is relatively flat and fast with an occasional speed bump in the park after having a fairly fast downward section as runners run out of the park and around the outside.
Of our two runners it was the returning Anneli MacKenzie-Brown who was first home finishing in 1:59:39 in 91st place with Julie Richardson in 113th position in 2:14:54.
