Our Under 17 endurance maestro, India Pentland, was in action for the first time this season at the English National Relay Championships. She ran the first 2.5k leg as an individual athlete against some of the best cross country runners England has to offer.
After a fantastic effort she finished in 8th place in a time of 8:52. While most people would consider this an excellent result, India was a little disappointed. At the moment she’s just getting back into training after a knee injury so she was a bit off her best pace today.
We wish you well, India, and hope for a speedy return to top form. We’re looking forward to reporting on another successful season of top performances! Go India!!
