Important Notice

Whilst group training is not available at the moment due to the national lockdown measures in place, outdoor exercise continues in play a key role in the health, well being and general fitness of our athletes.

DHAC Coaches don’t stop being coaches even if they can’t meet their groups.

Every week we will be updating the training page with session suggestions – these are suggested sessions from the coaches to replace the planned group sessions.

When running / training please remember these key guidance and safety points:

Only run or train with members of your household, your support bubble, or one person from another household outdoors in a public place (maintaining social distancing).

If you are running in the dark, wear reflective / bright clothing and lights.

Run in well lit areas.

Give priority to pedestrians.

It would be great to get some feedback on these session, use the comments on the page to let us (and everyone else) know how you get on and give any feedback you would like to.

Junior Fundamentals

Suitable for ages 8-10 (school years 4 to 6). This group will follow a multi event based approach to training, with little focus on one over the other. This approach allows young athletes to pick up all of the fundamental movement patterns required for future training. For more details, including location details, please visit the FAQ page
