Last Sunday saw the latest instalment of the Senior League, this time on home turf at Eastbourne. With a number of the athletes back for some of the bigger clubs in the league, even on home turf it was going to be a tough day for the combo team of Darlington Harriers and Chester-Le-Street.
With six teams on show including Leeds, Durham City and Harrogate the team battled away to finish 5th place with only 14 points separating them and 3rd place it was an excellent performance leaving the team 3rd overall after 2 matches.

Get involved with these events, put your names forward and Mark Tallon and Sue Phillips will keep you in mind for opportunities to compete and support the team as it battles to stay in League 3.
Well done all competitors, list of results follow.
