Sunday saw the opening race for the clubs Grand Prix Series. This series runs alongside our club championships which has 11 10km races to choose from, of which you need to run 5 to qualify. These races include Pitstop, Darlington, Tees pride, Raby Castle and many other local races so if you are not sure check out the club competitions on our website.
On the day we had 4 of our senior group in action, John Clifford the first of our four to finish in 18th place in a time of 33:46, followed by Lucy-erin Hunter in 42nd in a new personal best of 36:16. Shirley Gibson was next home finishing in 54:42 with Julia Clifford 64:36.
