Another race to take place this weekend was the Cumbrian half marathon. Runners set off from The Sheepmount Athletics Stadium runners head past the iconic Carlisle castle and into the city before heading out into the countryside.
Taking in the picturesque villages of Cumwhinton, Weatheral and Scotby the return will also pass the Cenotaph in Rickerby Park, through Bitts Park to finish on the track at The Sheepmount. Some great performances from our four Harriers with Ronnie Read taking honours for first home.
