One of our youngest Junior Harriers has been a regular face at the NYSD Cross Country runs this season. But for Sonny Campbell-Critchley it doesn’t stop there; he is also a keen supporter of the Sunday morning junior park run at Hemlington Park, Middlesbrough.
So as long as there’s no NYSD taking place, Sonny gets on his running gear and heads off to the 2k park run circuit. Well, he certainly gave it has all this week, bagging 2nd place overall with a new PB of 8:58, and his first time under the 9 minutes mark!
According to his Dad, Sonny was absolutely “buzzing” afterwards, and rightly so! A fantastic performance, Sonny – well done, and keep up the good work.
