Moses smashes Quayside Record – Simply Lovely

On a slightly breezy Wednesday evening a number of Harriers headed to the Quayside to take on the 5km race, an event which Lewis Moses won in 2017…could he do it again? The race is pretty much an out and back with a bridge at the very end with runners split into either the Elite race (sub 20 runners) and a Mass start.

Lewis stormed to victory smashing the course record in the process taking a whole 10 seconds of Matty Hynes performance. Other outstanding performances included Paul Allan’s 16:47 breaking the 17min barrier as well as personal bests for Kelly Farr and Sarah Guy but some great times from everyone on the night.
