Jelly legs all round

We had six of our athletes at the Tynedale 10 mile on Sunday.

Starting and finishing at Hexham Racecourse, the highest point of the Tyne Valley, the race avoids any built up areas and make the most of Hexhamshire’s peaceful minor roads.

The course is a measured 10 miles of spectacular views, super fast downhills, challenging uphills and some meandering, flattish sections to get your breath back!

Graham Hindmarsh was first home on the day in 1.11.36 ahead of Dave McKenna in 1.13.34 and Barry Talman in 1.13.44. Louise Talman was next home in 1.14.20 with Andrew Glencross 1.26.14 and Charlotte Knowles 1.31.25.

A tough race by all accounts, but great efforts from you all.
