It’s wet at Whitby

On Sunday afternoon at a very wet and windy Whitby, a large group of Harriers took on the second race of this years NYSD XC. Whitby, Is a picturesque course overlooked by Abbey three laps which in fair weather is more of a nice trail race….today was not one of those days.

The only tough part of this course is the steep hill which in poor conditions requires a rope to help runners pull themselves to the top.

On a day like this when sleet is hitting your face hard and you are slipping around in the mud it would be quite easy to never do XC again, so massive respect to every one of you who ran today especially the debutants amongst the team.

Well done, results will be published next week
