Plasterer Iain Girard, and his wife Rachel, headed North for this weekends Scottish Half and 10km events.
Described as seriously flat and rapid over both courses this sounds like an event that may grow.
Iain, running the half marathon, finished in 1328th position in a time of 1:59:00, while Rachel battled through the pain in the 10km race, finishing 1469th in 1:44:11.
