Sarah Johnson and Lindsey Lester had the right idea as Storm Ciara hit the UK by competing in the Indoor Masters Grand Prix event at Sheffield.
This was Lindsey’s first time competing indoors and for Sarah her first return to competition since an injury to her hamstring curtailed her races.
Both ladies finished with a PB in the 60m sprint and Sarah also replicated this achievement over the hurdles of the same distance while also making a mark in the sand in the Long jump on her first ever attempt at the event.
Great achievement by both our ladies.
